My town Kristianstad turns 400 years old this May! As a part of the celebrations going on around town, myself along with two other artists, were commissioned by the city to create original artwork for buildings around town. The theme: "My Kristianstad"

Over several months our original pieces were enlarged onto huge canvas and painted by hand with the help of young painter apprentices - some of who ended up hired by firms at the end of the project.

I was "given" two buildings and I chose to depict the unusual and beautiful nature that surrounds this town.
